Authentic Vellumoid gaskets for sealing your switch against the body of the trailer (Ben Hur) or against the backing plate (Bantam). As specified in the original supply catalogs. Vellumoid is still in business in Worcester, Mass. and still making the exact gasket material to this day. Described as a “Treated cellulose fiber material impregnated with a protein glue and glycerin binder.” this stuff is not cork, rubber nor manila envelopes. Our gaskets are made from the same material, the same thickness as originals. 3 3/16″ OD and 1/32″ thick straight out of the supply catalog. The sheet stock is cut and punched in our own facility. We sell these as part of our master parts kits, but also individually.
