For the G 529 trailers where the back of the switch is exposed. These backing plates are cut from 18 gauge steel and hole punched using a Whitney punch that’s older than your Jeep. We ship these in primer so that you can apply your own favorite shade of Olive Drab 319. Sure you could make your own. But we took all the metal burs and finger gashes out of the process for you. Leaving you with a part ready to paint and install.
