Also known as a HANDLE, Plunger,Support Leg, w/SLEEVE Assembly. This rod and spring assembly fits G518,G527 and also G529 trailers as well as Civilian Bantam trailers M100 and M416 trailers. Ours are made in house with the components welded together locally. The removal and replacement of these plungers is destructive. The old one is cut off, the set screw removed from the drawbar casting and the assembly slid out the left side, after installation of the new latch you will need to bend the rod over to form the handle. This is the procedure outlined in the manual.

While we do check these for fit on a Ben Hur drawbar casting other trailer drawbar castings might vary slightly. Recently we had a customer buy one for an M100 trailer and have to trim the spring slightly. Before bending on your pin over check the operation to see if you have to file the pin or trim the spring first.
